Home Based Eagles of Nigeria have crashed out of the 2024 African Nations Championship, Chan jointly hosted by Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda.
The Home Based Eagles, also known as Super Eagles B team, were thrashed 4-0 on Tuesday evening by Sudan in their second group game.
The Super Eagles B team had lost their opening match to defending champions Senegal, making it back to back defeat in the tournament.
Senegal, in their second group game, played a 1-1 draw with Congo.
Sudan now sits top of the group with 4 points, Senegal second with 4 points as well, Congo third and Nigeria rock bottom of the group.
Super Eagles B will only be playing for bragging rights when they face Congo in their final Group D game next week Tuesday.
