President of the Providence Coalition, Prince Niran Adeyoju, has expressed deep sympathy and solidarity with popular musician and media entrepreneur, Dr. Yinka Ayefele, following the recent fire outbreak at Fresh FM, Ibadan.
The unfortunate incident, which occurred on Friday night, caused significant damage to equipment and parts of the broadcasting studio.
In a heartfelt statement signed by the coalition’s publicity secretary, Elder David Oluokun, Prince Adeyoju conveyed his concern over the losses incurred and commended Ayefele for his resilience and longstanding contribution to the media and entertainment landscape in Nigeria.
“I was deeply saddened to learn about the fire incident at Fresh FM Ibadan. This station has not only been a beacon of quality broadcasting in the South-West but also a symbol of perseverance and innovation, led by Dr. Yinka Ayefele, a man whose personal and professional journey continues to inspire millions,” Adeyoju stated.
He added that the Providence Coalition stands in solidarity with the Fresh FM team and urged the public and relevant stakeholders to support the rebuilding and recovery efforts.
“We stand with the staff, management, and listeners of Fresh FM during this trying time.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation by emergency response agencies, although no casualties have been reported.
