Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke has urged Muslim faithfuls in the state to prioritize peaceful cohabitation, which is the hallmark of the teachings of the Holy Prophet of Allah, Prophet Muhammad.
Governor Adeleke in a message by his Spokesperson Mallam Olawale Rasheed, congratulates the Muslim Ummah in the state and beyond on the marking of this year’s Maulud Nabiyy, describing the birth of Prophet Muhammad as a divine arrangement by Allah to light the path of mankind and bring about everlasting relief in this world and hereafter.
While reflecting on the timeless message of peace and harmony that Prophet Muhammad embodied while he was alive, Governor Adeleke notes that his birth celebration not only calls for spiritual reflection but also an opportunity to strengthen bonds of fellowship and goodwill.
“As we celebrate the commemoration of Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) birthday, let us reflect the true essence of the moment by spreading love and compassion to all around us. We should endeavour to let his teachings guide us in all we do.”
Governor Adeleke prays for this occasion to bring peace, blessings and a renewed commitment to a prosperous Osun state while reiterating the commitment of his government to religious harmony, which will foster enduring peace and stability, panacea to a prosperous society he envisaged.
