The Osun State Police Command has apprehended six cultists suspected to have caused chaos at a tertiary institution in Osun state.
The State police command image maker Mr. Abiodun Ojelabi in a statement made available to press men in Osogbo on Thursday, said the suspects included Oluwadamilare Temitope, Ayodeji John, Adepoju Adesoji, Yusuf Abeeb, Fatai Quadri and Lateef Abiodun.
Mr. Ojelabi disclosed that the suspects were arrested by the gallant officers of the anti cultism unit of the command while on township patrol at Iree , Boripe Local government.
He explained that the cultists have waylaid themselves by exchanging gunshots inside the school and injured two students whom he said were currently receiving treatment in a private hospital.
He said the suspects will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded
In a related development, the command also arrested one Johnson Olagoke who allegedly robbed two motorcyclists in ile-ife.
Mr. Ojelabi stressed that the suspect carried out the dasterd act on two different occasions.
The command PPRO maintained that the suspect after attacking his victims , went away with motorcycles, phones and cash.
