All roads lead to Ile Ife, Osun State on Sunday, 19th of October, 2025, as the Ooni of Ife, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Adeyeye Eniitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, will install a Philanthropist and an Entrepreneur, Dr. Afolashade Shona-Aluko as Yeye Bobajiro Oodua.
Yeye (Dr) Shona-Aluko who has received many Awards and Recognitions from within and outside the Country will pull many dignitaries to Oduduwa Hall, Ile-Ife for the conferment of the Chieftaincy Title.
Dr Shona-Aluko described her recognition as inspiring, humbling, well valued, particularly, from the source of Yoruba race and the throne of Oduduwa, pledging not to take it for granted, but rather, spur her to continue contributing to the growth and development of the Society.
Yeye(Dr) Afolashade Shona-Aluko who described the Ooni of Ifè, Oba Adeyeye Eniitan Ogunwusi as her father, maintained that, Oba Ogunwusi is leading by example in the areas of promotion of peace and unity, employment opportunities, culture and traditions among other notable achievements on the throne as a First Class Monarch in Nigeria.
Her installation as Yèyé Bobajiro Oodua is expected to attract dignitaries, including Captains of Industry and well-wishers from within and outside the Country.
She was also honoured in October last year during the Oodua Special Recognition Awards for her contributions to culture, education, economic development, entrepreneurship and humanity at large.
