Nigeria Police, Ogun State Command has confirmed the involvement of international boxer, Anthony Joshua, in a fatal road accident along Lagos–Ibadan Expressway, near Makun area of Ogun State.
which claimed the lives of two persons.
Police Public Relations Officer ,PPRO Mr. Oluseyi Babaseyi said the accident occurred when a Lexus Jeep, reportedly conveying the boxer, rammed into a stationary truck near the Danco Filling Station axis of the expressway, leaving two people dead instantly.
Mr. Babaseyi said AJ sustained minor injuries in the crash and has been receiving medical attention.
The PPRO noted that investigations have commenced on the exact cause of the crash.
