Wife of Olubadan of Ibadanland, Queen(Barr) Rashidat Olayinka Ladoja on Tuesday attended the Ramadan Lecture organised by her husband, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, held at the Olubadan Palace, Oke Aremo, Ibadan, Oyo State.
The Ramadan Lecture delivered by a popular Islamic Scholar, Chief Imam of Offa, Kwara State, Sheikh Muyideen Salman was attended by dignitaries including Deputy Governor of Oyo State, Chief Bayo Lawal, Speaker, State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin, Senator representing Oyo South Senatorial District, Dr Sharafadeen Alli, Olubadan-in- Council, Chief Imam of Ibadanland, Sheikh Abubakar Agbotomokekere, Aare Musulumi of Yorubaland, Edo and Delta, Alhaji Dawood Makanjuola Akinola and other notable personalities from far and near.

While delivering the Ramadan Lecture, the Chief Imam of Offa, Sheikh Muyideen Salman reminded those in position of Authority to always have the fear of Allah in whatever they do in the Society, saying Oba Ladoja’s contentment, steadfastness and selflessness paved ways for him as a successful politician, entrepreneur and now a respected Monarch in the Country.
Sheikh Salman prayed Allah to grant Ọba Ladoja and family good health and sound mind, in his quest to attract more development to the ancient City of Ibadan.
Shortly after the Lecture, Queen Rashidat Ladoja appreciated the personalities who graced the Occasion, particularly, Women, for always supporting Oba Ladoja with prayers, describing women as fundamental pillars of society, supporters of families and catalysts for social change.
The Ramadan Lecture was the first after the Coronation of Oba Rashidi Ladoja as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland, having ascended the throne on September 26, 2025.
