The Deputy Governor of Kano State, Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo, has formally resigned from his position.
His spokesperson, Ibrahim Shuaibu, confirmed the development on Friday.
Shuaibu said the resignation had been formally communicated.
“Yes, it is true. The deputy governor has resigned from his position,” he said, declining to provide further details on the circumstances surrounding the decision.
