Following the tragedy that struck Aramoko Ekiti, Ekiti State last Thursday, where a truck rammed into a residence killing a 21-year old student of Federal University of Technology, Oye Ekiti, FUOYE, and leaving his family homeless, his father, Mr. Rufus Farotimi, is seeking justice for the loses.
The 300-level Student, Promise, was said to have been sleeping in his father’s house when the heavy-duty truck rammed into the building and crushed him.

In an emotional laden voice, father of the deceased, Mr Farotimi described the loss as devastating, saying he is left with nothing as his son was killed, and his house was also destroyed in the accident.
According to him, the driver fled immediately the incident occurred but his motor-boy was apprehended, and documents recovered in the vehicle identified the driver as Shuaibu Yusuf.
Mr Farotimi urged authorities to apprehend the suspect and called on the company linked to the truck to take responsibilities.
While speaking, neighbours and community leaders blamed reckless driving and the poor road condition, calling for urgent action.
The Nigeria Police, has confirmed that the case is under investigations
