Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Rashidi Ladoja has debunked the claim of any rift between him and the Oyo State Governor, Engineer Seyi Makinde, describing the claim as false and misleading.
This is contained in a statement issued by the Media Aide to Olubadan of Ibadanland, Chief Adeola Oloko.
The Statement also adds that, the Olubadan did not travel out of Ibadan to avoid the coronation ceremony of some Chiefs slated for Friday, 3rd April 2026 by the State Government.
It maintains that the three concerned High Chiefs due to be coronated have formally informed the Olubadan of Ibadanland that they would not be available for the Coronation, and have, therefore, asked for postponement.
The information has, therefore, been duly communicated to the State Government through the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters
