The Convener of Oyo APC Peace Advocates, Prince Niran Adeyoju (SDM), has hosted women leaders from across the 12 wards in Ibadan North Local Government Area during a courtesy visit aimed at strengthening unity and grassroots mobilization within the party.
The meeting, held at SDM TARVERN HOTEL TOTAL GARDEN Ibadan, brought together prominent women stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress, who engaged in discussions centered on party development, inclusion, and strategies for enhanced participation of women in political activities.
Addressing the delegation, Prince Adeyoju expressed appreciation for the visit and commended the women leaders for their dedication and consistent support for the party at the grassroots level.
He emphasized the critical role women play in political organization and electoral success, noting that their involvement remains indispensable to the growth and stability of the APC in Oyo State.
“I am honoured to receive you all today. Your commitment to the party, especially at the ward level, is highly commendable. Women remain the backbone of our political structure, and your contributions cannot be overstated,” Adeyoju stated.
The APC chieftain reiterated his commitment to promoting peace, unity, and cohesion within the party, adding that the Oyo APC Peace Advocates platform will continue to serve as a bridge for resolving conflicts and fostering inclusiveness.
Adeyoju also assured the women leaders of his continued support for initiatives and programmes that would empower women and strengthen their participation in party affairs.
Speaking on behalf of the delegation, the women leaders commended Adeyoju for his leadership qualities and his efforts in promoting unity within the party. They described the visit as an opportunity to deepen collaboration and align efforts toward achieving common political goals.
The visit concluded with a renewed commitment by both parties to work together in strengthening the party’s structure at the grassroots level and ensuring greater inclusion of women in leadership and decision-making processes within the APC in Oyo State.
