Senator representing Oyo South Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Dr Sharafadeen Alli has promised to run an all inclusive government if given the opportunity to serve the state as Governor.
Senator Alli made the promise in Ibadan at the official declaration to contest for the Governorship seat in Oyo State under the platform of the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Senator Alli maintained that he had served meritoriously in various capacities at both the State and National levels and he is best positioned to become the next Governor of the state.
The Governorship Aspirant said if elected, his administration would be accountable, transparent and people oriented.
Senator Alli also promised to ensure full Local Government autonomy and give priority to agriculture, as well as, improve healthcare delivery in the State.
He appreciated President Bola Tinubu and all the leaders of the APC in Oyo State for creating a level playing field for all aspirants in the party.
Senator Alli therefore called on party leaders and members to close ranks and collectively work for the success of the APC in the state at the 2027 General Election.
Dignitaries at the event were Senator Ayoade Adeseun, Alhaji Fatai Ibikunle, members of the National Assembly under the party’s platform, Oyo APC Peace Advocates Convener, Prince Niran Adeyoju, as well as, scores of party supporters.
