The leadership and the entire members of the RADIO, TELEVISION, THEATRE AND ARTS WORKERS UNION of Nigeria (RATTAWU) Oyo State Council has commiserated with the entire staff of the Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State (BCOS) and the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Oyo State Council over the demise of one of their staff and members, MRS ADEBUKOLA AKINTADE who passed on to the great beyond today 17th April, 2026.
In a release issued and jointly signed by the State Chairman Comrade Kehinde Olayade and the State Secretary Comrade Femi Olubode, the Union described the death of Mrs Adebukola Akintade, a well seasoned and hardworking newscaster during her lifetime, as a rude shock and a big loss to the media family in Oyo State.
It therefore prayed God to console the entire BCOS family, NUJ Oyo State Council and the family she left behind and grant them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
