Osun state government has announced conversion of casual workers of the State Teaching Hospital, Osogbo who have spent twelve years to become permanent staff.
Governor Ademola Adeleke made the announcement while addressing hundreds of workers of the Teaching Hospital during a visit to the hospital.
The Governor alleged that the duo of Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola and the All Progressives Congress, APC, Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Oyebamiji we were using the name of President Bola Tinubu to perpetrate anti-people activities in Osun state.
He maintained that both the Minister and the APC Governorship Candidate orchestrated the current local government crisis in their efforts to strangulate the State Government.
The Governor, who stated that his Government is surviving by the grace of God by delivering good governance, promised not to stop delivering dividends of democracy to residents of the State.
Responding, the Head of the Labour Movement at the Teaching Hospital, Mr Olamide Faniran commended the pro-labour stance of the Governor and pledged labour’s support for his administration.
