Osun APM Gubernatorial Candidate Withdraws To Drum Support For Adeleke

The governorship candidate of the Allied People’s Movement (APM), in Osun State,Adebayo Adewale, has withdrawn from the race and directed his Party members to vote for the Accord Party’s candidate,Senator Ademola Adeleke.

In a press statement,Adewale noted that the decision to back Adeleke was a conscious choice to place Osun State’s interest above personal ambition.

According to him,his resolve to join forces with the incumbent governor would advance peace, stability, development, and the collective interest of the state.

“Gentlemen of the Press, after a deep reflection and extensive consultations with party leaders, supporters, and stakeholders, I have decided to withdraw from the Osun State governorship race.This decision is not borne out of pressure or personal interest. Rather, it is a conscious choice to place the interest of Osun State above personal ambition. “Having carefully assessed the situation, I believe Governor Ademola Adeleke deserves another term to consolidate the progress his administration has made.Statement reads.

Adewale pledged his full support for the re-election of Senator Ademola Adeleke.
