Acting Governor in Oyo State,Chief Bayo Lawal has expressed optimism that the ongoing circular road project would promote growth and development across the State .
Chief Lawal while speaking with journalists after inspecting the Phase 2 of the 110-kilometre Senator Rashidi Ladoja Circular Road in Ibadan.
The Deputy Governor noted that the purpose of the inspection was to monitor compliance and ensure that the road project meets the required standard.
He noted that about 32km of dual carriageway had been completed and asphalted, with streetlights and toll gates already installed.
The Acting Governor also restated the determination of the government to compensate affected registered landowners .
He urged the public to take time to evaluate the project which he described as World Class,rather than spreading rumours over the project.
He disclosed that contractors have assured that the 32km section at Badeku would be completed by the end of September and ready for commissioning,
The Acting Governor also inspected ongoing projects at the Samuel Ladoke Akintola Airport, Ibadan,to be completed by November
