Veteran Nollywood actor, Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, is dead.
Ogogo’s had silently battled a progressive stage -four cancer.
His daughter, Kira Hassan, confirmed this on Instagram Live session on Sunday, where she struggled to come to terms with her father’s death.
“My daddy is dead. I want to go home. Someone should book my ticket. I want to go home. I want to go and see my daddy before he gets buried .” Kira Taiwo daughter of Nollywood actor, Taiwo Hassan ‘Ogogo’ visibly shaken as she cried on live session.
The actor’s death was also announced by entertainment platform Emiralty Africa, which described Ogogo as a star filmmaker.
His passing came just hours after Kira had spoken publicly about the family’s struggles during his illness. She alleged that some individuals had attempted to take advantage of the situation by demanding large sums of money while claiming to offer assistance with his treatment.
