The Leadership of Providence Coalition, a socio-political Group consisting of professionals and politicians in Oyo state and the Diaspora has paid a courtesy visit to the Olubadan Designate, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Senator Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja in his Bodija residence.
The Group was led by its President, who is a Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Oyo State, Convener of Oyo APC Peace Advocates and MD/CEO of SDM Group of Companies, Prince Niran Adeyoju, ( SDM).
During the courtesy visit, Prince Omilabu Ghandi introduced the President and Leaders of the Providence Coalition to the Olubadan Designate.
In a short address, President of the Coalition, Prince Niran Adeyoju, SDM, acknowledged Oba Ladoja’s wealth of experience, exposure and general acceptability from home and abroad.
He emphasized that Oba Ladoja’s anticidents speak volumes and his influence transcends Oyo state and Yoruba Land.
He said that the whole world and the Providence Coalition are looking up to the Olubadan Designate for a reenactment of quality Leadership which the Olubadan is synonymous with.
He wished the Olubadan Designate long life, sound health, wisdom and knowledge to fulfill the high expectations for which the world is looking up to him as a foremost Monarch in Yoruba Land.
Two members of the Providence Coalition, Alhaji Chief Adebayo Aruna and Hon. Dr. Mrs. Adepeju Esan offered prayers for the Olubadan Designate.
In his response, Oba Ladoja appreciated the Providence Coalition for the visit.
He said he is aware of the high expectations from different quarters and asked for continued prayers for guidance and strength.
He gave glory to God for the general acceptance and goodwill he has been receiving from several quarters.
He said the Ooni of Ife visited him on Sunday and he has informed him about a program which coincides with his Coronation.
He said during the Ooni’s visit, they had very fruitful discussions and apart from the Ooni of Ife, other prominent Monarchs have visited him.
He promised to work with other Monarchs to ensure unity amongst the Yoruba people.
He concluded his speech by saying that his prayers are that credible people who can deliver will be put in positions of authority.
