Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ FRCN Ibadan Chapel has extended its heartfelt congratulations to the newly elected leadership of the Nigeria Union Journalists, Oyo State Council led by the Chairman, Comrade Akeem Babatunde Abas, popularly known as Alakime.
In a statement signed and issued by the Chairman of the most populated Chapel in the State, Comrade Oluwakayode Banjo, said the victory of Comrade Abas as the Chairman and his team is a well deserved one saying, Radio Nigeria is proud to associate more with the Council having secured two vital positions of Secretary and Treasurer for its members.
According to the statement, Comrade Banjo specially congratulated Comrade Dayo Adu and Comrade Moses Morenikeji of FRCN Ibadan Chapel for their emergence, urging members of the Union to have confidence in the State Council Chairman and his executive members to reposition the Union with his lofty ideas and programmes.
The NUJ FRCN Ibadan Chapel prayed that God will grant new executive the wisdom, knowledge and strength needed to discharge their duties efficiently and effectively, assuring the leadership of the Comrade Akeem Babatunde Abas of maximum cooperation and support to succeed in the new assignment.
