The Oyo State Chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC, has commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his various developmental achievements in the last 34 months in office
The party said the president’s performance in the last barely 24 months have indicated that he was the best man for the job of leading Nigeria to the promise land
The Oyo state All Progressives Congress Publicity Secretary Mr. Olawale Sadare disclosed this in a press statement made available to newsmen on Saturday to felicitate the president’s 74th birthday
Mr Olawale Sadare noted that an average Nigerian appreciates the fact that President Tinubu deserves being celebrated for rekindling the hope of a stronger, better and more promising Nigeria. He said the Oyo State APC appreciates the president for what he is doing as a father to enhance various developmental projects in the country.
The statement congratulates president Tinubu on his 74th birthday, while wishing him longer life, sound health and knowledge to further paddling the affairs of the country
In the same vain, the Oyo APC has called on general public, including its members and supporters to discountenance the rumour making the rounds about the emergence of the Party’s candidates for the 2027 general election issuing a stern warning to desist or face the consequences
The party noted that such unverified and falseful information is capable of causing confusion among party loyalists and supporters in the state.
It expalined further that the leadership of our great Party has launched an investigation into the brains behind the circulation of a fresh list of purported Oyo APC candidates as it was obtained in social media a few hours ago while assuring teeming members and supporters not to recognise the list for 2027 election
