Alawode Adedayo has emerged as the candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) for the Oyo State House of Assembly election in Ibarapa North/Ibarapa Central State Constituency following the party’s recent primary election.
Adedayo secured the party’s ticket after participating in the ADC primary conducted ahead of the forthcoming state assembly election, a development that has generated excitement among party members and supporters across the constituency.
Party stakeholders and loyalists who attended the primary election described the exercise as peaceful and transparent, expressing confidence in Adedayo’s ability to represent the interests of the constituency if elected into office in 2027.
Speaking after his emergence, Adedayo appreciated party leaders, delegates and supporters for the confidence reposed in him, pledging to justify the mandate given to him through quality representation and people-oriented leadership.
He also promised to work towards the development of Ibarapa North and Ibarapa Central areas by promoting policies and programmes that would be beneficial to the welfare of residents and address challenges facing the constituency.
