Edo Governor-Elect Okpebholo Will Deliver On Campaign Promises – Sen. Alli

Senator Sharafadeen Alli (APC-Oyo South) has extended heartfelt congratulations to Senator Monday Okpebholo of the APC on his well-deserved victory in the Edo governorship election.
This is contained in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Akeem Abas and made available to newsmen on Monday in Ibadan.
Senator Alli described the outcome of the poll as a reflection of the people’s will and confidence in Okpebholo’s vision for the state.
The lawmaker commended the people of Edo State for coming out in large numbers to support the APC candidate, demonstrating their commitment to a better future for the state.
Senator Alli thanked President Bola Tinubu, the APC National Working Committee under the leadership of former Gov. Abdullahi Ganduje and APC governors for their unflinching support.
The lawmaker also appreciated the uncommon Senate President, Senator Godswill Obot Akpabio, Senator Adams Oshiomhole and the entire 10th Senate for the support given to Senator Monday Okpebholo’s project.
He said that Okpebholo’s victory was a sign of the electorate’s desire for positive change and development across the state.
Senator Alli expressed confidence in Senator Okpebholo’s ability to deliver on his campaign promises, noting that his experience as a lawmaker would greatly benefit the people of Edo.
He encouraged the governor-elect to remain focused on uniting the people and ensuring that his administration prioritises good governance, infrastructure development as well as economic growth.
The lawmaker urged all stakeholders in Edo to rally behind the newly elected governor, setting aside political differences for the progress of the state.
