NSCDC Receives New Office In Ibadan

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defense Corps, NSCDC Area A’ Oyo State Command has inaugurated a new office Building at Ashi/Bashorun Community to heighten security in the area.
Inaugurating the Facility, NSCDC state Commandant, Mr Augustine Padonu who said the edifice built and donated by a philanthropist, Reverend Akindele Feyisetan, would enhance community policing, giving assurance that personnel of the Corps would be deployed immediately to the office for work.
The State Commandant promised to ensure proper use and maintenance of the building, while urging members of Ashi/Basorun community to support the NSCDC by providing useful information that would lead to the apprehension of criminals.
Earlier in a speech, Divisional Officer, Mrs hiEbunoluwa Ajayi, noted that the office facility would serve as centralized hub for the NSCDC security personnel for swift emergency response and increased collaboration with local authorities.
In a Goodwill message, Chairman Ibadan North Local Government, Mr Oluwaseun Olufade, represented by the Director of Education and Social Services, Alhaja Kudirat Najimdeen charged the NSCDC to make judicious use of the office facility, while promising that the Local Government would be responsible for the furnishings.
Representing Chairmen Ashi ‘3’ Community, Mr Babatunde Omirin appreciated the NSCDC and promised collaboration of residents of Ashi and environs.
The Donor, Reverend Akindele Feyisetan, attributed his kind gesture to the grace of God, adding that he was happy to have done the community service.
The New NSCDC Bungalow has office spaces and a cell.
Highpoint of the event was a tour round the facility and award presentation to the Donor.
