Osun House Of Assembly Passes Estate Agency Regulatory Authority Establishment Bill

Osun State House of Assembly has passed Osun State Lotteries and Gaming Establishment Bill, 2024 and the Osun State Estate Agency Regulatory Authority Establishment Bill, 2024.
The Bills scaled through its final passage during the Plenary Presided by the Speaker, Prince Adewale Egbedun held at the Assembly Complex, Osogbo.
After separate presentations of the report on the Bills by the Chairman House Committee on Commerce, Industry, Cooperatives and Empowerment, Mr. Sanmi Areoye and the Chairman House Committee on Lands, Physical Planning and Urban Development, Mr. Lawrence Adeoti, respectively, the Bills were passed.
However, The Osun State Lotteries and Gaming Bill, when signed into law would ensure that there are legal frameworks backing lotteries and gaming in the state and would also generate more income for the state government.
The Osun State Estate Agency Regulatory Authority Establishment Bill, 2024 seeks to enhance Real Estate activities in Osun , protect the interest of Property Owners and guard the Public against illegal activities in Real Estate Business.
The Speaker, Prince Adewale Egbedun said The clean copies of both bills would be forwarded to the State Governor , Senator Ademola Adeleke for his assent.
Earlier, Prince Egbedun read to the House a message from the State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, A Bill seeking the Establishment of The Osun State Drugs and Medical Supply Management Agency.
Recall that, A Public Hearing was held on the Osun state Estate Agency Regulatory Authority Establishment Bill, 2024,In May.
