Adeleke : I Pay Attention To All Sectors Despite Tight Financial Situation

Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke says his administration paid attention to all sectors despite tight financial situation, with the dwindling value of Naira which has negatively affected the actual value of the state fund including the 20 percent increment in federal allocation.
Governor Adeleke stated this at the presentation of bonds certificates worth two billion Naira to the contributory pensioners for both state and local governments in the state.
He maintained that his Administration has paid the sum of Twenty Two Billion, Six Hundred Seventy One Million, Two Hundred and Seventeen Thousand, Eight Hundred and Ninety Three Naira to pensioners in the state.
The Governor reassured the state workers of his government’s unshaken commitment to your welfare which is number one item on his five point agenda.
Governor Adeleke commended the Head of Service, Mr. Ayanleye Aina and his team for their strong performance in service delivery and in the ongoing reform of the public service.
In his remark, the state Coordinator for the Forum of Contributory Pensioners, Alhaji Toyin Ayinde lauded Governor Adeleke for his efforts in alleviating the suffering of the contributory pensioners in the state who had being waiting for their gratuity since seven years.
Alhaji Ayinde commended the state government for ensuring that the total payments of all outstanding Bonds and other Entitlements are given to the pensioners in the state.
He attested to the fact that, all Osun state contributory pensioners had all been registered and enrolled freely into the state Health Insurance scheme adding that the state government has also promised to pay Osun state contributory pensioners the New minimum wage.
Speaking on behalf of the retirees, Mr. Femi Olabisi thanked the Governor for considering the plight of retirees in the state, and for making the welfare of workers a number one priority.
Earlier, the Head of Service, Mr. Ayanleye Aina appreciated the Governor for giving civil servants, both serving and retired, all their dues benefits.
Highlights of the event was the presentation of Award of Excellence to the Governor by the Pensioners.
