Oyo F.A Suspends Stadium Steward, Olalekan Ojo Olufemi from Watching 3SC matches

Oyo State Football Association under the able leadership of Alakinyele of Akinyele, HRM Oba James Odeniran has announced the immediate suspension of one of the staff of Peculiar Ultimate Concern Limited , Olalekan Ojo popularly known as Ijesha from watching 3SC matches.

This was contained in a release made available to newsmen by the Secretary of the Association, Mr Kehinde Ojelowo shortly after match day 13 of Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL, between Shooting Stars Sports Club(3SC) and Bayelsa United held at Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, Ibadan on Sunday .

It would be recalled that Oyo FA has been at the forefront of orderliness and sanctity in the game of Football and this underscores its stance against any activity that may bring the game of football to disrepute in the state.

The copy of release was however sent to the Commissioner of Police in the state, the Honourable Commissioner of Youth and Sports, Miss Wasilat Adegoke and the Oyo State Sports Council on the decision of the Association for security purpose and full compliance

The Notification of Suspension reads:

“Consequent upon your unsporting behaviour exhibited immediately after 2024/2025 Nigeria Premier Football League, Match Day 13 , with Match number 128 between Shooting Stars Sports Club(3SC),Ibadan and Bayelsa United Football Club, Yenagoa on Sunday, 24th November, 2025, which nearly bring the game of football to disrepute, I’m hereby directed by the Oyo State Football Association to inform you that, you have been suspended indefinitely from watching any 3SC match or entering all the stadia in the state”.

“You are hereby informed to kindly adhere strictly to this suspension order,failure which will result to your arrest by law enforcement agent”

Anthony Okachi’s 15 minutes goal was enough to secure 3 maximum points for Oluyole Warriors as they defeated Bayelsa United 1-0 in Ibadan
