2027: Providence Coalition President, Niran Adeyoju SDM Leads Oyo APC Peace Advocate Forum To Party Secretariat….Vows To Regain Agodi Govt. House

In a significant show of solidarity and unity, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress APC in Oyo state, Prince Niran Adeyoju (SDM) President, Providence Coalition, alongside other eminent personalities including Chief Wale Ohu, a chieftain of APC In Oyo State, Dr. Akin Onigbinde (SAN), former speaker Oyo State House of Assembly and Legal Adviser Afenifere visited and held a crucial meeting with the Oyo State APC State Excos at the party secretariat, Oke Ado ibadan .
Others on the delegation are Dr. ( Hon.) Amdalat Adepeju Esan ( former member oyo state House of Assembly) Prince Gbade Lana ( Ex LG council chairman and former Honourable Commissioner in oyo state), Hon. Raji Raask (former Honourable Commissioner in oyo state), Honourable Hamzat Ogunsola ( former member oyo state House of Assembly), Honourable Bimbo kolade ( former Honourable Commissioner in oyo state) and presently Federal commissioner RMA& FC, Oloye Adebayo Haruna ( Rtd. Oyo state permanent secretary), Engr. Wale Adeoye ( former Honourable Commissioner in oyo state) and presently Executive Director, Ogun, Osun River Basin Authority.
Hon. Afeez Bolaji ( Repete) who is also a member of the Forum was unavoidably absent during the visit.
It was gathered that the Forum was received by the Chairman, Alh. Olayide Abas and his excos. During the visit, the forum emphasized on the importance of unity, grassroots mobilization and inclusiveness within the Party as it prepares for future political activities, promising to help the APC to reclaim the Agodi Government House in 2027.
Speaking with journalists shortly after the meeting, Prince Adeyoju who is the Leader and co-convener of the Forum, called for an end to divisions and emphasized on the significance of promoting a united front to ensure success in future elections, starting with the by election in Ibadan North Federal Constituency.
Prince Adeyoju said the Oyo APC Peace Advocates is a Body that has been dedicated to the restoration of peace and unity within the Party in recent times, with many stakeholders’ engaged in fruitful dialogue in the last six months, especially at the grassroots level .
He said “We must put aside our differences and work as one for the progress of our great party. Only through unity can we achieve the results that the people of Oyo State expect from us.”
Prince Adeyoju who is a grassroot politician said it must be mandatory for elected officials to give back to the Party, explaining that political Parties should usually run with donations and contributions from those elected under the platform of the Party.
Earlier, Chief Wale Ohu, a key stakeholder in Oyo APC , co convener and spokesperson of the Oyo APC Peace Advocates, further emphasized on the importance of inclusivity, calling on all stakeholders—whether long-time members or newcomers—to feel valued within the party structures.

He noted that a united APC would be better positioned to face the challenges posed by opposition Parties and ensure that Oyo state is totally delivered to the APC in 2027.
Chief Wale Ohu said that the Forum will not be affiliated with the ambition or aspiration of any Party member but will ensure candidates for elective offices emerge under a free , fair and credible process and procedures.
Such candidates whenever they emerged, shall be totally supported by the Peace Advocate Forum, Chief Ohu stated.

Hon.( Dr.) Amdalat Adepeju Esan thanked the state Party Executives for holding forth despite difficulties.
Reacting, the Oyo state APC Acting Chairman, Alhaji Olaide Abas, who described Prince Niran Adeyoju as a strong supporter of the Party at all levels, affirmed the credibility of the Forum and pledged the support and commitment of the current Party Leadership in Oyo state to the Forum.
He further said that, the Oyo APC Leadership was aware of the reconciliation moves and efforts of the Forum, especially by the co convener Prince Niran Adeyoju In Ibadan North and across the state, which he said was already yielding positive results.
The publicity secretary of Oyo APC, Hon Olawale Sadare said he was happy to see personalities of value in Oyo State as members of the Forum, saying it was enough to tell the whole world that APC is the party to beat in future elections.
The Youth Leader of oyo APC, Hon.John Aremu, in his contribution, said that Prince Niran Adeyoju’s credibility speaks volumes and his association with the Forum is enough to remove any vestige of doubts about the credibility and sincerity of the Forum.
He said Prince Niran Adeyoju and his Forum have the full support of the state APC Executives.
