Owo Unrest: Gov. Ayedatiwa Declares Curfew Till Further Notice

Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa  has ordered a dawn-to-dusk curfew in Owo town till further notice following the cult clash and unrest in the ancient town .

This is contained in a statement signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ebenezer Adeniyan.

According to the statement, all residents are to remain indoors during the curfew except essential services, such as hospitals, emergency services, and law enforcement which are exempted .

The Statement also indicates that the State Government asked security agencies in the State to enforce the curfew, ensure safety of lives and properties as well arrest perpetrators of violence in the community.
