PHOTOS: Oyo NAWOJ Flags Off “PAD-A-GIRL” Initiative In Ibadan

The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, NAWOJ, has emphasized the need for young girls to practice and maintain good personal hygiene.
NAWOJ Chairperson in Oyo State, Mrs Omolola Alamu stated this at the flag-off of PAD-A GIRL INITIATIVE at The Saint Theresa College, Oke Ado, Ibadan.

Mrs Alamu noted that many girls in the society are forced to miss school due to lack of access to sanitary pads.
OYO Nawoj chairperson explained that there is need for all organizations and philanthropists to support a girl child with sanitary towels so as to maintain a good personal hygiene.

Some of the students appreciated Oyo Nawoj for the good gesture and appeal to good spirited Nigerians to donate more sanitary towels for them.
