Nigeria Seals FIFA U-20 World Cup Spot

Flying Eagles of Nigeria have reached the semi finals of the Under 20 African Cup of Nations, AFCON, in Egypt after defeating defending champions Senegal in their quarter final clash.
The win also means that they have secured their place in the Under 20 World cup in Chile.
Nigeria defeated Senegal 3-1 on penalties after playing out a goalless draw in regulation time.
Other countries that have joined Nigeria in the semi final stage are Host Nation Egypt, Morocco and South Africa.
The semi final matches will be played on Thursday as Nigeria tackles South Africa before Morocco take on Egypt.
In their quarter final fixtures, Morocco overcame Sierra Leone 1-0, Egypt and Ghana played a 2-2 draw, Egypt going on to win 5-4 on penalty, while South Africa defeated DR Congo by a lone goal.
