Egungun Festival Begins With A Call For Peaceful Celebration In Ogbomosho

Egungun worshipers in Ogbomosho have been advised to celebrate their festival with modesty in their various family houses.
Soun of Ogbomosho,Oba Ghandi Olaoye gave the advice in a statement signed by Palace Secretary,Toyin Ajamu to announce the beginning of Egungun festival in Ogbomosho.
Oba Ghandi, through the statement announced that the annual festival is expected to begin on the 16th till 27th of July,2025 .
The statement adds that the festival is a traditional event to promote traditional cultural heritage.
