Obasanjo Library Invasion:Management Issues Ultimatum To Police,EFCC

Management,Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library ,OOPL has called for a thorough investigation into what it described as unlawful arrest by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission ,EFCC on its premises.
Managing Director, of the Library Mr. Vitalis Ortese, in a statement said the EFCC and the Nigeria Police Force jointly carried out a malicious operation which in turn disrupted activities and endangered visitors.
The management advised security agencies to make their findings public, saying 100 patrons, including tourists and entrepreneurs were harassed.
While noting that such invasion was unconstitutional, Mr.Otese demanded separate public apologies from both EFCC Chairman, Mr. Ola Olukoyede and the Inspector General of Police.
He also demanded financial restitution of ₦3.5 billion , as damages for victims and the Library.
The management gave seven days ultimatum for legal actions to be instituted if its demands are not met within the time frame.
