“We’ll Overcome Terrorism, Banditry – President Tinubu

President Bola Tinubu has vowed to defeat terrorism and banditry describing the spate of insecurity in the country as “unacceptable”
President Bola Tinubu who made the vow on Monday at the State House Conference Centre, Abuja, assured Nigerians of his administration’s resolve to strengthen the country’s security forces and restore peace across affected communities in the country.
The President described insecurity as an economic obstacle , noting that all hands must be on deck to find lasting solutions to the problem
Speaking in a press statement made available to newsmen through his special adviser on information and strategy Bayo Onanuga, the president particularly lauded the governors of Borno, Katsina and Kaduna states, as well as others, for doing soo much to defend the country from the attacks of the bandits
He further praised the National Economic Council, chairman Vice President Kashim Shettima, for sustaining a vital platform for policy coordination and strategic dialogue.
Highlighting the key achievements of his administration since inception, , President Tinubu maintained that the economic reforms undertaken since have helped stabilise the economy and restore confidence.
He commended the Central Bank of Nigeria under Governor Yemi Cardoso for restoring confidence in Nigeria’s monetary policy.
President Bola Tinubu explained that various developmental agenda put in place by his administration will help to foster unity and oneness in the country thereby eradicating banditry and terrorism in Nigeria. He called for a concerted effort from all Nigerians
