Palm Sunday: Jesus’ Triumphant Entry To Jerusalem, A Sign Of Victory For Mankind – Pastor Oladipo

Christians have been charged to see the triumphant entry of Jesus Christ to Jerusalem as a sign of victory which all and sundry must embrace.
Pastor Gideon Oladipo of Christ Apostolic Church, Cannan Land, Ilupeju Estate, Akobo Ibadan gave the charge in his sermon on Sunday to mark this year Palm Sunday.
Pastor Oladipo while preaching from the book of Mark 11 verse 1 to 10 explained that the way Jesus rode on colt to Jerusalem must be understood and embraced.
He said Palm Sunday symbolises the suffering, crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus Christ who died to redeem mankind.
Pastor Oladipo who doubles as District Superintendent of CAC Cannan Land, Akobo expplained further that every Christian must see palm Sunday as a day for sober reflection considering what the saviour passed through on the cross. He noted that if Jesus had not passed through the excruciating pains on the cross, man’s salvation would not have been perfected.
The cleric while calling on all Christians in the country to celebrate with moderation and gentility, urged them to surrendered their lives to Christ, maintaining that he suffered because of them.
