Security Operatives Recover Ammunition From Suspects In Delta State

Troops of 63 Brigade of the Nigerian Army in Delta State, has arrested four suspected criminals operating in tricycle and recovered arms and ammunition.
This was contained in a statement signed by Assistant Director, Army Public Relations Major Emmanuel Onoja, and made available to newsmen in Asaba, the state capital.
The statement notes that the suspects were apprehended in the tricycle popularly known as kekenapep, with registration number ASB991 VC DELTA, during a routine patrol at Nwawolo Market, behind the Asaba Specialist Hospital.
Those arrested are; Mr. Abila Luka, Mr. Solomon Yaknam, Mr. Sunday Emma and Mr. Haruna Garba.
Items recovered from the operation include: one AK47 rifle, one round of 9MM Ammunition, two cartridges and one magazine.
Other exhibits found on the suspects are: one crow bar, one battle axe, small and Android phones and a wallet containing nineteen United States Dollars and thirty-thousand six hundred and fifty naira.
The statement states that the suspects were taken into custody for interrogation and further investigation.
