Armed Robbers Rape Commuter In Osun

A commercial bus and a private car were yesterday attacked by armed robbers near Osu in Atakumosa Local Government Area of Osun State.
The vehicles were said to be coming from Lagos when they were attacked by the robbers.
Narrating their ordeal, One of the Passengers said the bus driver was shot, while a woman was raped during the attack.
He said the Armed Robbers also collected money and ATM cards to transfer various amounts into their account.
A4oRadio learnt that some of the passengers who escaped into the bush alerted security Operatives.
Confirming the incident,the acting police spokesperson in Osun State, Mr.Emmanuel Giwa-Alade said the bus driver was receiving treatment in an undisclosed hospital in ile-ife.
Mr Giwa- Alade noted that one person has been arrested in connection to the robbery, while investigation is on-going.
