Ekiti State Governor Rewards 88 Outstanding Workers

Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji, has presented a total of N42 million in rewards to 88 outstanding workers.
He gave the gesture at the 2024 Ekiti State Public Service Forum and Award of Excellence, held at the state secretariat in Ado Ekiti to mark his second anniversary in office.
While emphasising that welfare of civil servants remains a top priority for his government,he expressed his resolve to always reward exceptional performance among state workers .
Governor Oyebanji also appealed for patience regarding the implementation of the new minimum wage, explaining that the delay is due to ongoing efforts to ensure that all categories of workers are included in the revised salary structure.
The state’s Head of Service, Dr. Folakemi Olomojobi, congratulated the civil servants on the occasion, commended their dedication, and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence in the performance of their duties.
