Ogun Government Approves Reconstruction Of Road Linking Ilara-Ilishan

The Ogun State Government has awarded a contract for the reconstruction of the road connecting Ilara in Remo North to Ilishan in the Ikenne Local Government Area.
Governor Dapo Abiodun made the announcement during the Afotamodi Day Grand Finale, themed “A Legacy of Culture and Tradition,” held at AUD Primary School in Isara-Remo.
The governor also shared that his administration had re-awarded the reconstruction of Awolowo Road in Ikenne after the initial contractor could not complete it due to health issues.
Additionally, Governor Abiodun disclosed that Phase 3 of the Sagamu-Iperu-Ode-Saapade Road project has been awarded, assuring that it would be completed on schedule.
He expressed gratitude to the people of Isara for their support, noting that his administration would continue to work with the community on development initiatives. The governor pledged N20 million towards Isara-Remo’s development and promised to join next year’s festival celebration.
The Odemo of Isara-Remo, Oba Adebose Mayungbe, praised the town’s residents for their unity and thanked Governor Abiodun for his commitment to their community and the state.
