The Coalition of Registered Political Parties, CRPP, has commended Edo State Governor, Senator Monday Okpebholo for the people oriented actions he has taken since he assumed office.
The CRPP gave the commendation in a statement signed by its Chairman, Dr Samson Isibor.
The CRPP specifically appreciated the swift action of Governor Okpebholo to suspend market unions and associations in the state, who have allegedly been inflating prices of commodities arbitrarily.
According to the group, the suspension of the unions and associations had led to a drastic reduction in the prices of commodities to the relief of residents in the state.
The CRPP also commended the Governor for swearing-in the three Judges denied by the immediate past administration, as well as, the payment of 13 month salary to Civil Servants.
The Group, however, urged Governor Okpebholo to set up Forest Rangers across the State to provide adequate security for famers.
It equally advised the Governor to appoint capable hands into his cabinet that would complement his efforts at revamping the economy of the State.
