Aiyedatiwa, Deputy In Attendance As Ondo Governorship Election Petition Tribunal Begins Sitting

Ondo State Governorship Election petitions tribunal has commenced sitting today at the state high court in Akure, the state capital.
The tribunal tasked with the responsibility of resolving disputes arising from the election, began with preliminary hearings on petitions filed by aggrieved parties.
In the meantime, Governor Lucky Ayedatiwa has expressed confidence of winning at the State governorship election petition tribunal.
Governor Aiyedatiwa and his deputy, Mr. Olayide Adelami were present at the tribunal’s inaugural sitting.
The Governor explained that he was at the tribunal to personally observe the proceedings, defend his mandate, and gain deeper insights into the process.
At the commencement of the tribunal proceedings , legal representatives of other political parties were also in attendance.
Meanwhile, the tribunal has adjourned sitting till February 10, 2025.
