Amotekun Rescues 4 Kidnapped Persons In Oyo

The Western Nigeria Security Network, code named, Amotekun in Oyo State has achieved a significant success by rescuing four kidnapped persons, including the two wives and sons of Baale of Alagbede.
According to State Commandant Olayanju Olayinka, the rescue operation was a collaborative effort between Amotekun officers and local hunters in Ojutaye, along Oretu Road.
The victims were kidnapped from their residence in Alagbede village, near Kola Daisi University in Akinyele, Ibadan, at around 1 am on Tuesday.
The efforts however yielded as one of the suspects has been apprehended
Unfortunately, one of the local hunters, known as Ojo, lost his life during the rescue operation.
In a surprising turn of events, the anti-kidnapping officers of the Nigerian Police Force, Oyo State Command, reportedly seized the suspect and victims from Amotekun officers, who were taking them to their office for documentation and further investigation.
As of the latest report, Amotekun officers and local hunters are still in pursuit of the kidnappers, having successfully cornered them in a specific area.
This development highlights the ongoing efforts of the Oyo State Amotekun to address security concerns in the region.
