Olubadan Installs Giwa Adeboye Kamaldeen As Mogaji Aliiwo Compound, 8 Others In Ibadan

The Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Akinloye Owolabi-Olakulehin has installed Giwa Adeboye Kamaldeen as Mogaji of Aliiwo Compound, Ibadan, Oyo State.
It would be recalled that the immediate past Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Lekan Balogun was from Aliiwo Compound of the ancient city.
The Monarch also installed 8 other Mogajis and two Baale at the Olubadan Palace, Oke Aremo, Ibadan, Oyo State
While speaking at the ceremony, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, who spoke through Ekarun Balogun of Ibadanland and the Senator representing Oyo South Senatorial District, Sharafadeen Alli, congratulated the newly installed traditional title holders for being counted worthy by their families to represent them.
The Monarch urged them to ensure that peace reigns supreme in their domains, saying no meaningful development can be achieved without peace.
Olubadan advised the new Mogajis and Baales to desist from any act that could tannish the reputation of the traditional institution such as land grabbing, insubordination to elders within their families and oppression of family members whom they represent.
The other Mogajis installed were Alhaji Kamorudeen Adebimpe of Adebimpe family, Odinjo in Ibadan South East, Alhaji Muritala Aloba of Aloba family, Inalende in Ibadan North, Dr Kazeem Rabiu of Akinsumbo Compound, Oke – Balogun Opooyeosa Ibadan North West and Alhaji Kadir Farayola, Samonda family, Ile Samonda, Oje in Ibadan North East .
Others were, Mr.Olukayode Oduntan-Awise of Oduntan Awise(D M R) Compound, Oke – Offa in Ibadan North East, Alhaji Abideen Mustatapha, Eleko family, Idi Arere in Ibadan South West. Further more, Mr. Yinusa Taiwo Ibilade Apapa of Apapa Compound, Labiran in Ibadan North East, Alhaji Sholagbade Nureni Oladejo Arapaja, Arapaja family, Kudeti in Ibadan South West were installed as Mogajis.
The Baales installed were Chief Raimi Ibrahim Edujobi from Edujobi village in Egbeda Local Government and Mr.Morakinyo Muniru Fagbemi of the Fagbemi village in Akinyele Local Government Areas of the State.
