Just In: NNPCL Shuts Down Port Harcourt Refinery

The Port Harcourt Refinery is to undergo a planned maintenance and would be shutdown during the process.
The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, NNPC Ltd., notified Nigerians through a press release signed by its Chief Corporate Communications Officer, Olufemi Soneye in Abuja.
According to the release, the scheduled maintenance and sustainability assessment will commence on Saturday, May 24, 2025.
“We are working closely with all relevant stakeholders, including the Nigerian Midstream and Downstream Petroleum Regulatory Authority (NMDPRA), to ensure that the maintenance and assessment activities are carried out efficiently and transparently.”
