2027: APC Leaders In Ibarapa Pledge Support For President Tinubu, Others

The All Progressives Congress, APC, Leaders, Block One, in Ibarapa Central Local Government Area of Oyo State, have unanimously passed a vote of confidence on President Bola Tinubu, Lawmaker Representing Oyo South in the National Assembly, Senator Sharafadeen Alli, Minister of Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu and the State Chairman of the Party, Alhaji Olayide Abas.

The resolution was contained in a communiqué signed and issued by Six Prominent Leaders of APC after their block meeting held on Thursday in Igboora, the headquarters of the Local Government.

Signatories to the Communiqué include the Block Chairman, Mr. Adisa Akintola, Chief Akinyemi Akinlabi, Hon. Habib Ibrahim, Princess (Hon.) Mojibade Adetona, Chief Adeolu Idowu and the Block Secretary, Mr. Yusuff Balogun.

The meeting had in attendance, all leaders across Wards 4, 5, 6 and 7 in Ibarapa Central, Local Government as well as past and serving political office holders.

They commended President Tinubu for his unprecedented transformation and reformation agenda, tagged Renewed Hope, noting that the policies were already restoring hope and setting the nation on a sustainable growth trajectory.

The Leaders described the President’s Administration as people-oriented, courageous and purposeful, stressing that Nigerians would enjoy more benefits as policies on economy, security, and infrastructure continue to unfold.

Similarly, the gathering hailed Senator Sharafadeen Alli for delivering quality representation for the people of Oyo South, describing him as a listening leader who has brought visibility and tangible projects to the senatorial district.

According to the leaders, Senator Alli’s impact on education, infrastructure and empowerment has been remarkable, making him one of the most effective voices Oyo South has ever had in the National Assembly.

They equally lauded the Minister of Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu, for his efforts in boosting electrification across the country, saying his initiatives were improving lives and spurring economic activities.

The leaders maintained that Chief Adelabu’s commitment to service had rekindled confidence in Nigeria’s power sector reforms, assuring him of their unwavering support in his national assignments.

The meeting further applauded the Oyo State APC Chairman, Alhaji Olayide Abas, for his inclusive leadership style, grassroots mobilization, and dedication to strengthening party unity across the s
State.

They pledged solidarity to Alhaji Abas, affirming that his leadership has restored discipline and renewed confidence in the party’s structure, positioning it as a stronger force in Oyo State politics.

The meeting also resolved that President Tinubu’s return for second term was not negotiable, promising to win all elective positions in the State come 2027.

Among the attendees were also two former Chairmen of Ibarapa Central Local Government, and other
notable leaders including Pa Olowomi, Mr. Basiru Daud, Mr. Ade Adefabi and many stakeholders from the four Wards
