Muslims Challenged On Strong Family Values

Muslims have been urged to constantly uphold strong family values and work towards creating financial stability for young people.

This was the submission of speakers at a three-day conference with the theme “Our 4Fs: Our Faith, Our Family, Our Finance, and Our Future,” organised by the Federation of Ahlus-Sunnah Organisations in Nigeria, FASON, at the University of Ibadan Islamic Centre.

A guest speakers, Professor of Islamic Law at the University of Ilorin, AbdurRazaq Alaro, emphasised that faith remained the true identity of Muslims and should be reflected in every aspect of life.

Professor Alaro urged mothers not to pressure their husbands into seeking livelihood through unlawful means, stressing the importance of contentment and trust in Allah.

The chairman on the occasion, the West Africa and National Ameer of JIBWIS, Dr Abdullah Bala-Lau, used the opportunity to congratulate Oba Rashidi Ladoja on his coronation as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland.

Dr Bala-Lau also prayed for President Bola Tinubu, asking for divine guidance for a successful tenure in delivering his renewed hope agenda.

In his remarks, the National Ameer of FASON, Sheikh Tajudeen Abdulkareem, said the conference aimed at strengthening unity among Muslims while praying for leaders, President Bola Tinubu, state governors, including Engineer Seyi Makinde, to fulfil their democratic promises in an atmosphere of peace.
