Makinde Inaugurates Oyo 50th Anniversary Committee Led By Fijabi Of APC

An 11-member Anniversary Planning Committee for Oyo at 50 has been inaugurated in Ibadan.
Oyo State Governor,Seyi Makinde, while inaugurating the 11-member committee at the Executive Council Chamber, Agodi secretariat, changed them to ensure that the anniversary was befitting.
The committee members are; a former member of the House of Representatives, Saheed Fijabi, as the chairman,former Oyo State Head of Service, Alhaja Ololade Agboola and Mrs Ronke Adedayo.

Governor Makinde explained that the objective of the anniversary is to showcase the achievements of the state across different sectors in the past 50 years.
The governor who challenged the committee to reach out to people that have made sacrifices for the state urged them to also appreciate people who contribute to the development of the pacesetter state.
Chairman of the Committee, Saheed Fijabi said the committee would consult stakeholders across the state to exhibit the lofty and remarkable achievements of the state.
Other members of the committee are; Dr Z.O Ajuwon, Mr Mustapha Areo,Alhaja Fatimah Azeez,Mr S.A. Adejumo, Pastor John Alabi,Alhaji Gafar Bello,Compol Fatai Owoseni and Mr Samuel Adegboyega Badejo.
