Osun 2026: APC Chieftain, Dr Ogundeji Congratulates Party’s Guber Candidate, Chief Bola Oyebamiji

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Osun State, Chief Peter Ogundeji, popularly known as APATA, has congratulated Chief Bola Oyebamiji on his affirmation and victory at the APC governorship primary election in the state.
Chief Ogundeji, in a statement from his Media and Communications Office, described the outcome of the primary as a triumph of unity, loyalty and strategic leadership within the party, noting that the victory reflects the confidence reposed in Chief Oyebamiji by party members across Osun State.
He said the APC candidate’s blend of public service experience, financial expertise and administrative competence has continued to distinguish him as a dependable leader, adding that the primary victory should be seen as a call to greater responsibility and service to the people of the state.
The APC chieftain recalled Chief Oyebamiji’s performance as former Commissioner for Finance under the administration of former Governor Gboyega Oyetola, as well as his role as Managing Director of the National Inland Waterways Authority, describing his track records as evidence of capacity for prudent management and effective governance.
Chief Ogundeji expressed confidence that the discipline, professionalism and grassroots appeal that earned the financial expert the party’s mandate would also secure victory for the APC in the 2026 governorship election, assuring him of full support, particularly from Osun West Senatorial District.
He also commended President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, former Governor Bisi Akande and former Governor Gboyega Oyetola for their roles in strengthening unity within the Osun APC, while praising other aspirants for placing party interest above personal ambition and reaffirming the party’s readiness for the 2026 governorship contest.
