2027: Teslim Folarin-Led Renewed Hope Ambassadors Embark On Mobilisation Tour In Oyo

The All Progressives Congress, APC, Oyo State Chapter, in collaboration with the Renewed Hope Ambassadors, has embarked on the Tour of Oyo Federal Constituency as part of its efforts to unite party stakeholders and reinforce mobilisation structures ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
The Tour which is expected to cut across all the Federal Constituencies in Oyo State took off at the Oba Adeyemi Stadium, Oyo town, with Party leaders and members of the Party and from all the 6 geopolitical zones of the State in attendance.
While Speaking, Wife of the Former Governor, Oyo State and Ambassador-designate, Chief Florence Ajimobi, applauded the initiative, describing it as a unifying platform that reflects the strength, discipline, and renewed commitment of the All Progressives Congress in the State to win all the elective positions in 2027.
In his remarks, the Oyo State Ambassador for Renewed Hope, Senator Teslim Folarin, assured that all the Renewed Hope Ambassadors are working closely with the Party structures towards championing strategic and results-driven efforts with a view to expanding support for President Bola Tinubu in the next general election.
According to the former Senate Leader, In 2023, President Tinubu secured 449,884 votes in Oyo State—one of the strongest margins nationwide. Our mission now is to increase that figure by at least 35% through intensified grassroots mobilisation across all 33 Local Government Areas.
“Every leader with 2027 ambitions has set them aside. We must prioritise unity, rebuild internal trust, and deliver a landslide mandate for President Tinubu,” he added.
Senator Folarin emphasised that Oyo State would play a defining role in securing the President’s re-election with massive votes, as a result of a united and formidable party in the State.
He explained that the re-election strategy blends political intelligence, stakeholder diplomacy, and early election management to energise the party base and consolidate APC structures across all the 14 Federal Constituencies in Oyo State.
In their separate remarks, Minister of Power, Chief Adebayo Adelabu; APC State Chairman, Alhaji Olayide Abas; Senator representing Oyo Central, Yunus Akintunde; his counterpart from Oyo South, Senator Sharafadeen Alli; Engineer Idris Adeoye; Senator Femi Lanlehin; Senator Ayo Adeseun; Engineer Remi Oseni; Hon. Olaide Muhammedah; and other notable leaders urged party members to remain disciplined and united, stressing that victory in 2027 will depend on cooperation rather than competition within the APC family.
Other APC Chieftains in attendance included, former Deputy Governors, Chief Iyiola Oladokun and Chief Moses Alake-Adeyemo; Senator representing Oyo North, Dr Abdulfatai Buhari, Hon Akeem Adeyemi; former Speaker Oyo State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Asimiyu Alarape; Hon Muraina Ajibola; Engineer K. K Raji, Professor Adeolu Akande; Hon Bolaji Rẹpẹtẹ, Alhaji Akeem Olatunji Akogun and Dr. Abisoye Fagade.
The tour will continue across the remaining Federal Constituencies in the coming weeks, as Oyo APC intensifies efforts to strengthen internal structures and secure a historic victory for President Tinubu and the APC in 2027.
