No Terrorists In Iwo: Oluwo Cries Out.

The Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrosheed Akanbi,has debunked the allegation of the presence of a terrorist group in Iwo town .

Oba Akanbi reacted to the arrest of Sheik Dahood Imran Molaasan by the Department of State Services, DSS,on allegations of terrorism

In a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr.Alli Ibraheem, Oluwa was quoted saying the reports were manufactured and coordinated by enemies seeking to discredit the town’s security structure and religious harmony.

Oba Akanbi who noted that Iwo remained one of the most peaceful towns in Nigeria explained that attempts to attack the image and values of Iwo and its people would continue to fail.

“as a deliberate move to weaken the security capacity of Iwo by undermining the Jaysu Security Network, which he said plays a critical role in maintaining law and order.”The statement adds.
