Rainstorm has destroyed property worth millions of naira in Oke- aga in lyemogun area in ilesa, Osun State.
The rainfall which lasted about 30 minutes on Sunday evening has thrown the community into anguish
as residents count their losses due to the devastating effect of the storm.
The Oloke -aga of Oke- aga Oba Matthew Adeniyi, who spoke through one of subjects appealed to the Osun state government and the state emergency management agency, OSEMA to come to the aid of the community.
Oba Adeniyi, explained that several houses were destroyed by the storm, while transformer, electrical poles and wire cables were also damaged.
The traditional ruler therefore called on the concerned authorities to as a matter of urgency come to the assistance of his people in view of the hardship in the land
Some of the residents interviewed lamented the terrible incident and called on well meaning individuals and faith based organizations to come to their rescue.
